What If Failure Was A Good Thing?
When you come across the word 'failure' what is the first thought that comes across your mind? Most, if not all of us, do believe that failure hinders growth. We assume that whosoever fails, is the biggest loser on this planet. But what exactly does failing mean? Well, we can consider FAIL as 'First Attempt In Learning' rather than, it straight up being a negative word. It's a massive misconception that failure is a bad thing, which is further rooted in the false belief that someone who fails is also incapable.
When we fail, we give up and never try to stand up again. Words lie, actions can lie too. Consistency speaks the truth. An empire isn't built on one single pillar; your success shouldn't be either. Instead your success would and should be a sum of everything you do - from the procurements you bag to the blunders you omit. It isn't balancing itself on a castle of cards - One gust of wind and it all comes crashing down. I'm talking about being completely invested and then completely devastated once things don't work out. Learn from failure, from your mistakes. One door closes, another would open or just pry that same door back open. Don't get me wrong. Hard work and determination are important but if it doesn't work out -then it simply doesn’t. A simple failure can’t close all doors; a simple achievement can’t open all either so don't get validated so easily.
Failure is scary and intimidating enough for us never to want to experience it again and rightfully so. But have you ever thought what if it was a good thing? Ever tried that approach? I bet you haven't. Step out of the fear that is holding you, let go of limiting beliefs, be bold enough to step into a new story that you are willing to create.
